Bask in the Sun is an English expression that can be translated as "basking in the sun" or "being under a good star". it is also a double meaning to affirm the geographical origin of the textile label located on the Basque coast.

Bask in the Sun is a French brand that offers a powerfully iodized men's wardrobe. From Guéthary on the Basque coast (see the portfolio of Jon Sanchez, photographer and ambassador), its founders imagine collections inspired by both the heritage of marine clothing and urban fashion.

The identity of the label is also the atypical path of its creator: between a three-generation family tradition dedicated to Basque weaving and a solid experience of ready-to-wear forged alongside Japanese stylists. Tito Clemente – joined by two partners in 2013 – develops original creative pieces, cultivates his differences and asserts his uniqueness with each new collection.

The manufacturing is European, sustainable, ethical, as close as possible to the ocean in family workshops in the north of Portugal. From spinning to dyeing, screen printing and tailoring, Bask in the Sun knows each of its partners and visits them several times a year to develop quality clothing with a keen sense of detail, which aims to elevate each creation to the rank of tailor-made.

In contrast to fast fashion, disposable and of low quality, Bask in the Sun made the choice of sustainable fashion and natural fibers. The collections are made of first-class fabrics from the best suppliers. The brand also develops its own exclusive weaves in organic cotton jersey, grown without chemical input and colored without harmful substances.
