Founded in 1854, Timex is one of the biggest US names in watches. It all started with a group of artisans in the town of Waterbury, Connecticut, New England. Their original brass watch, sold at the time for $ 6, will eventually become synonymous with time itself and will propel the timing of the fireplace clock, with the gusset in the pocket, then on the wrist. Throughout its history, Timex has proven on many occasions its ability to produce watches in tune with the times, with the constant concern for good value for money.

The Timex Archive project represents 165 years of innovation and watchmaking know-how, and honors the greatest models made during these decades, celebrating the American pioneering heritage (from Ford's factories to the Wild West to the conquest of space and the seabed) while modernizing it.
